autumn afternoon on the Matsumoto Plain

After a cloudy morning, the sun came out in the afternoon and I found myself following the light uphill, until I was once again looking out across to the Alps. The mountains were nearly lost in the haze, but the plain was cast in a beautiful golden light.
Did I mention it's beautiful here?
